than 250 Nigerian schoolgirls. Boko Haram's reign of terror extends
to a larger population; since January 2014, the militant group has
killed 2,053 civilians alone.
The Nigerian government and its people are committed to combating
these terrorists. Through coordinated initiatives and secured
intelligence, the Nigerian military has killed more than 260 Boko
Haram militants and captured over 100 terrorists since the girls were
kidnapped in April 2014. The fight continues and Nigeria won't back
down until the girls are safely brought home and Boko Haram is
defeated.
