HRH, Oba Okunade Sijuwade (Ooni of Ife) ‘s Health Deteriorates…Withdraws From Palace Affairs

There is growing concern regarding the state of health of the Ooni of
Ife, HRM Oba Okunade Sijuwade and this as we learnt, is making a lot
of people think that the Monarch is of age.

A palace source told this medium not too long ago that the respected
monarch has withdrawn completely from undertaking palace events
due to symptoms of strange sickness that have become regular
occurrence in recent times.

The source stated that the health of the traditional ruler, who is also
the president of the Osun State Council of Traditional Rulers and
Chiefs, declined much after the death of the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Ado
Bayero, who was believed to be his friend and confidant.

However, some have said that the monarch's condition could be age-
related, since, as we age, we become more vulnerable to diseases.
